Petr Cech looks set to return to the Chelsea team against Roma on Wednesday after being forced to sit out Chelsea's 5-0 win over the weekend.
If he doesn't make the tie, he looks certain to have recovered for Sunday for the challenge of Liverpool.
Didier Drogba is also hopeful of making some kind of impact after a speedy recovery from what looked to be a serious injury.
Drogba got injured in the last Champions League against Cluj, suffering knee ligament damage.
