Kenyon not looking to buy in January

Chelsea Chief Executive Peter Kenyon has said they have no intention of spending in the January transfer window.

He believes that Scolari has enough at his disposal to mount a challenge on all four fronts.

Chelsea have started the season strongly as they lie on top of both the Premier League and their group in the Champions League.

Kenyon said:"We have a squad that is good enough, arguably the best squad in depth and Phil has the ability to get the best out of that."

The Blues spent over £20 million in the summer on the additions of Jose Boswinga and Deco who look to have completed their strong squad.
