Drogba escapes punishment over comments

The Football Association have decided not to charge Didier Drogba over the comments made in his recent autobiography.

The FA were investigating the controversial book where Drogba claimed he wished he had punched Manchester UNited defender Nemanja Vidic during the Champions League final last year.

The FA concluded that it wasn't the same circumstances as Roy Keane's autobiography in 2002 when the then Manchester United midfielder received a five game ban for saying he delibratly injured Alf Inge Haaland.
